Members of the public in Portadown are being warned not to touch any suspicious objects they see.
Searches were carried out in the Garvaghy Road area last night after warnings a device had been left in the area.
A phone call was made issuing the warning which was then passed on to police.
Nothing was found, but people are being asked to stay vigilant.
Anyone who notices anything suspicious is being asked not to touch it, but to contact the PSNI immediately.
