A woman has been left badly shaken after being forced to the ground and robbed by a gang armed with weapons, in her home in west Belfast.
Three men forced entry into the property in the Larkspur Road area, sometime between 8.15pm and 8.30pm last night.
They demanded cash from the victim before fleeing the scene.
The woman wasn't injured but was left badly shaken by the ordeal.
Detective Sergeant Arnott said, "This was a frightening ordeal for the victim in her home, somewhere she rightly deserves to feel safe.
"Enquiries are underway, and I would appeal to anyone who was in the area between these times and saw any suspicious activity, or who has information about this incident which could assist with our investigation to contact detectives at Musgrave on 101 quoting reference number 1779 of 18/03/20.”
Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
