A woman has been left badly shaken in Banbridge after being attacked by a man in broad daylight, who attempted to rob her.
It happened around lunch time yesterday on Scarva Street.
Police say the lady was hit twice while a man tried to take her handbag.
She managed to hold on to her belongings and the attacker left empty handed.
The suspect has been described as being around 5'10" with dark hair, white skin and wearing a blue top and blue jeans.
