A young man in his twenties from Omagh has died in a collision in County Cavan.
He was a passenger in a car which struck a wall in Cootehill yesterday evening.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been removed to Cavan General Hospital where a post mortem examination will be carried out.
Two others from Fintona in County Tyrone have been taken to hospital for treatment.
Their condition is not yet clear.
Gardaí say they are investigating the fatal collision which happened at 5.55pm yesterday evening at Station Road.
The road at the scene was closed to facilitate an examination of the area by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
