In GAA, Derry were relegated yesterday, despite defeating Fermanagh.

The Oakleafers will play Division Three football next season as will Fermanagh – that’s after Down enjoyed a surprise draw in Cork.

The final score was Derry 2-08, Fermanagh 13 points.

Meanwhile, Kerry will face Dublin in the final of the Allianz Football League Division 1.

That’s after they beat Tyrone yesterday 1-21 to 2-11 at the Fitzgerald Stadium.

Michael Geaney’s early goal set the tone for the match.

Kerry went on to build up a commendable 1-12 to six point lead by half time.

Tyrone failed to score from play.

Peter Harte managed two goals - one from a penalty - but the Red Hands failed to overcome mighty Kerry in front of an eight thousand strong crowd.
