A £350,000 carriageway resurfacing scheme is due to get underway on the A29 Dungannon Road in Cookstown.
The work will extend for a distance of approximately 2.1km from its junction with Drumconnor Road to 650m north of Lisnanane Lane.
The Department for Infrastructure says it will improve the strength and surface quality of this section of the Dungannon Road.
Work is expected to be completed by early September 2018.
To help minimise any inconvenience to the public and local businesses, two-way traffic flow will be maintained on the A29 via traffic control.
A mandatory 40mph speed limit will also be enforced during this period and overtaking will be prohibited.
The above planned dates are subject to favourable weather conditions and the Department will keep the public informed of any change.
