It follows an incident in a flat in the Cleary Crescent area of Newry on Wednesday.
A man required hospital treatment after allegedly being beaten with a hammer.
The 15-year-old and a 24-year-old man were detained in the city yesterday in connection with the incident.
A 17-year-old boy has already appeared in court.
Another 29-year-old man was also arrested but was later released on police bail.
