A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the attempted murder of police officers in Strabane.
It follows an incident on Tuesday evening when a device exploded in the County Tyrone town. The suspect was arrested on Saturday.
Meanwhile, police have been given additional time to question a 20-year-old man who was arrested in Newtownstewart in connection with the incident.
Parts of the town had to be cordoned off during the alert, and there was no access to the town via Liskey Road.
