A 51-year-old man questioned about the murder of an RUC officer has been released.
21-year-old Michael Ferguson was shot by the IRA in Derry/Londonderry in 1993.
The suspect was arrested in the city yesterday under the Terrorism Act by detectives from the PSNI Legacy Investigation Branch.
Police say the murder investigation continues.
