A pilgrimage walk has been organised for Bellaghy for Thursday to show opposition to the Magherafelt bypass plans.
The contingent which will be leaving from Queen’s University, say the planned route will desecrate the landscape made famous by Seamus Heaney through his poetry.
The silent gathering has been planned to coincide with the official pre-launch of HomePlace.
Protestors say they will keep a respectful distance from those attending.
