Police in Strabane, Co.Tyrone say a security alert in the town will continue into the afternoon.
The alert began late last night in Townsend St and cordons have been set up while officers carry out further enquiries.
A PSNI spokesperson said "We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate the patience and understanding of local people.
"We will keep you updated through our social media pages as the day progresses.
"There are no further details at this time."
There will be no access to the County Tyrone town via Liskey Road during the operation.
