A tractor driving course for young people will be held in Cookstown this summer.
It’s being run by the College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise.
It’s aimed at 13- to 15-year-olds and its purpose is to help improve safety on farms.
In Northern Ireland, the law states that from the age of 13 any child who wishes to drive a tractor on private land must obtain a certificate of competence in tractor driving.
The cost of the course is £150 and it focuses on areas such as personal safety, observation and pre-start checks.
It takes place at Loughry.
