A project to empower those suffering from dementia is recruiting volunteers.
With a waiting list of fifty-five clients, The Alzheimer's Society needs to boost volunteers for its Side By Side program
Research shows that keeping the brain active increases its vitality and staves off the disease.
And the program links a volunteer with an early onset sufferer, so that they can carry on doing what they enjoy in a community setting.
