Police investigation launched following the man's death
A man who collapsed at a property in Bushmills over the weekend has died. He had been taken to hospital in a critical condition on Sunday. Police said they are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
Meanwhile North Antrim MLA Mervyn Storey, expressed his sympathy following the death of a man in his 40’s. “News of the man’s death has sent shockwaves throughout the community over the weekend." said Mr Storey "It is a very sad time for those who knew him and of course his family, who are now mourning his loss."
"I express my deepest sympathies to the man's family. My thoughts and prayers are with them at this very sad time." Said Mr Storey "I understand the male was in his 40’s and is from Scotland, he had been working locally. A post-mortem investigation will be carried out to establish the cause of death.”
