She was taken to hospital for her injuries

A woman has been taken to hospital after being punched in the head in Tandragee.

It reportedly happened in the Market Street area sometime between 11:30pm and 11:45pm on Friday evening.

It's believed a number of people intervened after they witnessed the 30-year-old being assaulted by a man.

Her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
