Detectives are investigation an assault on a 20 year old man in Newtonstewart.
Detective Constable Brian St Ledger said:
"The assault occured sometime between 5am and 5.30am during the early hours of Sunday 15 October.
"The 20 year old male was taken to hospital with head injuries which are not thought to be life threatening."
Detectives investigating the assault arrested a 24 year old male on suspicion of GBH with intent on the same day.
He has since been released on bail pending further inquiries.
Police in Strabane have appealed for anyone who may have been in the Avery Park area of the town and who may have witnessed the incident to contact them.
