It happened in the town during the early hours of this morning
Windows were smashed and the door was damaged at the house on the Seahill Road shortly after 1 this morning.
Around the same time, a similiar attack was carried out on a house in Fleet Street.
A couple in their twenties who were in the property at the time were not injured.
A short time later, a car was found abandoned in a field at Walnut Avenue and set on fire.
Police are now trying to establish a motive for the incidents and whether they are linked.
