Police in Omagh are appealing for information after a burglary at a house in the Gortmore Gardens area.
The incident occurred at some point between Saturday, 30 December and Tuesday, 02 January.
Constable Johnston said:
“Entry was forced to the rear of the property and it was ransacked before several items of jewellery with sentimental value including a pocket watch and bracelet were stolen."
Anyone with information should contact 101 quoting reference 425 on 2/01/18.
Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
