The Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s ASPIRE Programme are now enrolling for their Classroom Support Training Programme which starts this September.
It's part of the programme's Employability Programme which is part funded by the European Social Fund and Department for the Economy.
Training will be provided, combined with a placement in school; which will help develop the required skills.
Training will include:
- Classroom based work placements
- Child Protection
- Paediatric First Aid
- IT for the Classroom
- Basic Food Hygiene
- Introduction to Phonics
- Literacy and Numeracy Skills
Support will also be available to develop CV's and to prepare for job interviews.
All courses provided at ASPIRE through the Employability programme are free of charge.
It's available to anyone who's currently unemployed or working less hours than 16 hours per week.
