Muslim representatives in Northern Ireland have told Q Radio they want to bust the myths about their faith.

Belfast Islamic Centre is joining mosques across the UK in opening its doors for the afternoon later.

It comes after a number of hate crimes targetted the community here in the last 12 months.

Naomi Green from the Centre says it's a chance to ask any questions people might have been too awkward to ask in the past.
