Vandals have again targeted bilingual signs in the area.
The new Irish and English signs in Rathfriland and Ballyward have been cut in half leaving the English text.
It's the third time bilingual signs have been defaced in Ballyward.
The district council has said it intends to replace the them and police are investigating.
