Police in County Tyrone are appealing for information following a burglary in Fintona on Wednesday evening.
The incident happened at a house in the McCaughey Terrace area of the village on Wednesday evening.
Police say a sum of money was stolen from the property during the incident along with some items of jewellery.
“It was reported that between the hours of 6.15 PM and 9.20 PM entry was gained to the residential premises, £500 in loose change was stolen along with a number of jewellery items," a police spokesperson said.
Officers say they now wish to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
“We are appealing for anyone with information about this incident to contact Omagh Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1311 of 21/09/16," officers say.
"Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111."
