Police are investigating reports that a man armed with a knife stole cash and tobacco from a shop in south Belfast.
The suspect entered the business on the Ormeau Road shortly after 9am today.
He demanded the woman working there put the money and tobacco into a plastic carrier bag which he had brought with him before leaving the shop.
The man in question is described as being around 5 '10" tall, medium build and wearing black tracksuit bottoms, white trainers and white long sleeve top with a grey body warmer.
He was also wearing a black bobble style hat and a blue face mask.
A PSNI spokesperson said an investigation is underway and detectives are asking anyone who was in the area or has dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident to contact them on 101.
