A Castlerock man is urging stroke survivors and their carers to enter the Stroke Association's '"Life After Stroke" Awards.
Retired Royal Navy officer David Boyd won the "Adult Courage Award" at last year's Northern Ireland ceremony.
David has survived an horrendous health triple whammy - a stoke, closely followed by a heart attack and sugery, and then a brain tumour.
