Police say a suspicious object found on a building site in County Tyrone was an "elaborate hoax".
The bomb squad were called to the Dunore Avenue area of Moygashel this afternoon.
A number of homes were evacuated.
A spokesperson for the PSNI said: "Detectives are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information that can assist with the investigation to contact detectives in Cookstown on 101 quoting reference 364 09/11/18.
"Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime."
