The Department of Justice has confirmed a convicted murderer from Belfast has been returned to custody after absconding while on temporary release.
Samuel McKinley was jailed for life for killing a man in Southampton in 1996.
He is serving his sentence at Maghaberry.
The 60-year-old has absconded from custody a number of times and went missing again on Friday 17th September.
