Police are investigating an incident of counterfeit currency in Ballymoney in which a man tried to tender fake cash.
It happened on Wednesday and enquires are continuing to identify him.
Meantime, police are encouraging shop assistants in the Ballymoney area to use their money tester pens or machines, where available.
And anyone passed counterfeit currency is urged to contact police on their non-emergency number 101.
