Fourteen more people have died with Covid-19 in the past 24 hours.
A further 2,980 new cases have also been diagnosed, however, case numbers no longer reflect the spread of the disease in the community as people who have a positive lateral flow test are not required to take a confirmatory PCR test.
The death toll since the pandemic began has reached 3,031.
There are 424 Covid-positive patients in hospital with 28 of them in ICU.
All but six of those people in ICU are being ventilated.
Nine hospitals are operating over capacity.
There are outbreaks in 211 care homes.
