Four more people have died with Covid-19 and an additional 6,877 new cases have been diagnosed.
There are 404 Covid-positive patients in hospital, 30 of whom are in intensive care.
Of those 30, 24 are being ventilated.
Ten hospitals are operating over capacity and 342 people are awaiting admission.
There are Covid outbreaks in 179 care homes across Northern Ireland.
The death toll since the pandemic began now stands at 3,002.
The age group with the highest percentage of people testing positive is 25-29 (14%).
Derry City and Strabane council area continues to have the highest infection rate (4,096.9) while the Northern Ireland average is (2,601.8).
Ards and North Down has the lowest rate (1902.6).
