John Dallat is to formally complain to the police.
It's after the SDLP Assemblyman was effectively trapped in his car by a hostile crowd in Kilrea last Friday night.
The incident happened during a loyalist parade.
He's asking police to investigate after a parade marshall doubted his version of events.
But Mr Dallat also revealed on Monday a recent very positive loyal order experience:
