Five year old girl sustains broken elbow and leg after being struck by car in Lurgan

A five year old girl has been taken to hospital after being struck by a car while on her bicycle in Lurgan.

The collision involving a silver VW Golf happened in the Dill Avenue area some time between 6.10pm and 6.20pm on Tuesday evening.

The girl sustained a broken elbow and broken leg in the collision.

Sergeant Meaney said, "Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the incident, or has dash-cam footage, to contact them on 101 quoting reference number 1486 of 13/04/21, or submit a report online using the non-emergency reporting form via http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/.”
