A flat has been damaged following an arson attack in Omagh.
It happened in the Mullaghmore Drive area at around 2.20am early this morning.
Police say a wheelie bin was placed against a door of the property and set alight, causing damage to the door.
The interior of the property sustained smoke damage also.
No one was in the property at the time and there were no reports of any injuries.
PSNI attended the scene, along with the NIFRS.
Detective Sergeant Reid, "We are treating this as arson with intent to endanger life at this time and would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened, or anyone who has information which may assist our investigation to contact detectives in Omagh on the non emergency number 101, quoting reference number 101 of 13/05/19."
