A former Chairman of Omagh Council and a long running SDLP Councillor, Liam McQuaid, died suddenly in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Liam celebrated his 74th birthday on Sunday, the day before he died.
SDLP West Tyrone MLA, Daniel McCrossan has said there's widespread shock in the local community, following the news of Liam's death.
He's described him as an outstanding public representative who worked for all men and women, regardless of backgrounds:
Liam McQuaid's funeral will take place tomorrow at St.Davog's Chapel in Dromore at 11.00am.
