10 Prisoners from Hydebank Wood have received medical treatment after the apparent use of illicit drugs.
Four young people were treated in hospital after becomming ill.
As a precaution a further six inmates were treated at Hydebank.
A spokesperson said those hospitalized were able to return to college a short time later.
The Prison Service says an investigation is underway.
