Cyclone Promotions and the SSE Arena are assuring boxing fans they are looking for a new date after Saturday nights homecoming bout between Carl Frampton and Andres Guitierrez was called off.
Fans were left dissappointed after the fight couldn't go ahead as Guitierrez sustained unjuries after slipping in a hotel shower.
Guiterrez suffered a number of facial wounds as well as concussion
It was due to be a WBC featherweight world title eliminator but The Jackal had failed to make the weight making him ineligible for that.
The Jackal has issued a statement on Twitter apollogising to fans and wishing Gutierrez a speedy recovery.
Neil Walker, General Manager, SSE Arena said they were in talks with the boxing promoter about another date and that existing tickets would be valid.
