A man who collapsed and died during the Belfast City Marathon on Monday will be laid to rest today.
Police officer, Stephen Heaney collapsed around the 6-mile mark of the route, at Sydenham on Monday.
Fellow runners tried to help the 50-year-old before paramedics arrived on the scene.
He was transported to hospital, but died a time later.
A funeral service will be held in Christ Church Limavady at 2pm this afternoon, followed by interment in the adjoining churchyard.
