A judicial review into the development of the Cavanacaw goldmine near Omagh is likely to go on until early December.
The review follows local objections to the original granting of planning permission.
Galantas Gold, the company who want to develop the mine, have been notified of the possible continuance.
That means an extension is likely to be granted beyond the current September listing dates and that the High Court may look to list a continuance for early December 2016.
It's understood that the some evidence may be heard by the end of this month's listing dates but that planning authority's evidence may not be heard until December.
The review follows an objection to the original granting of planning permission for the mine in Northen Ireland.
