An investigation has been launched into the death of a Northern Ireland Electricity worker at a substation in County Armagh yesterday.
Richard Scott, who was also an IFA referee, died on Wednesday morning after an incident at the Drumnakelly site on the Mahon Road in Portadown.
NIE networks and the Health and Safety Executive has launched an investigation into what happened.

Mr Scott, a Northern Ireland Electricity employee from Castledawson, was also a IFA referee.

The 33 year old from Castledawson was an IFA referee who officiated matches in the NI Football League.

Paul Stapleton, managing director at NIE Networks, said: “It is with great sadness that we confirm an incident at Drumnakelly Main Substation on Wednesday morning resulted in the fatality of one of our colleagues.
“The family of the employee has been informed and our deepest sympathies are with them at this incredibly difficult time.
"An investigation by both NIE Networks and the Health and Safety Executive is under way into the circumstances of the incident.”
In a Facebook post,the IFA's Trevor Moutray paid tribute to Mr Scott.
