The West Tyrone office of Sinn Fein is today holding a workshop to meet increasing demands for Irish passports.
Sinn Fein's West Tyrone branch of the party are welcoming members of the public to their James Street office to help them go about getting Irish passports.
"Summer is always a busy time for process passport applications," says Councillor Glenn Cambpell.
"However, there's been a considerable increase in the number of people contacting our office and elected representatives to have forms and photos signed, and to access general advice about applying for an Irish Passport," he added.
In the wake of Britain's decision to exit from the European Union there has been several reports of post offices running out of application forms for the travel documents.
So, in order to meet demands, Cllr. Campbell says the party has taken it upon itself to help meet the rising demand.
"I have organised an Irish Passport Workshop starting at 9 AM on Friday 19th August in the Sinn Fein office here on James Street in Omagh. I'll be available from 9 AM until 1 PM and from 2 PM to 5 PM," he said.
"People can call in at any time on the day, and have their forms and photos signed while they wait," he added.
The councillor and father-of-two says he doesn't mind helping people get their documentation sorted - he isn't sure if he can help with getting those tricky photographs right, though..
"It's always a pleasure to assist people in applying for an Irish Passport. Unfortunately, I cannot offer any advice on how to get a baby or a young child to look directly at a camera, although I believe imaginary birdies, cuddly toys and bribery can help!" he said.
