A decision on whether to prosecute a suspect in the murder of a German backpacker near Ballycastle more than thirty years ago has still to be taken.
That's despite the PSNI announcing more than a year ago that it was forwarding a file on a 59-year-old man to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
18-year-old Inga Maria Hauser's body was found in a remote part of Ballypatrick Forest, near Ballycastle in County Antrim in 1988.
A PPS spokesperson said it was a complex matter and is currently under active consideration.
