A local councillor has expressed his anger after a number of grit boxes were either stolen or damaged "beyond repair" in the Creggan area of Derry-Londonderry.
Councillor Kevin Campbell is appealing to those carrying out these "selfish" acts to stop and think of others.
He'sexplained to Q Radio how these grit boxes are vital to the local community, particularly during this period of bad weather:
