A man has been seriously injured after being assaulted at a house in Maghera.

It happened at a property off the O'Hara Road at around 8pm last night.

Three men entered the living room of the house and attacked the occupant.

He was taken for hospital for treatment.

Local Councillor Brian McGuigan has this message for local people:
