The Reverend Brian Boyd has missed out on becoming the next Presbyterian Moderator.
The Kells and Eskylane minister received 3 votes last night.
Mr Boyd was supported by Ballymena, Templepatrick and Tyrone Presbyteries.
The next moderator, the Reverend Noble McNeely, got 10 votes.
