Management say it's business as usual this morning in Upperlands after a blaze destroyed a 150-year-old building at an historic textile factory.

The blaze broke out at William Clark and Sons just after 1:30pm yesterday.

The alarm was raised by a dog walker.

Thirty firefighters fought the blaze which was confined to the one building.

William Clark and Sons is believed to be one of the world’s oldest companies.

Three pumping appliances and three specialist appliances dealt with the blaze.

Director Duncan Neil says it’s business as usual.

And he’s praised the emergency services personnel who dealt with the fire.
