A man has been arrested over a paramilitary style shooting in west Belfast.
A 16 year old was left injured in both legs following the incident at Aitnamona Cresent on Sunday December 18th.
A 42 year old man was detained at an address in west Belfast on the evening on Friday December 23rd, and is assisting officers with their enquiries.
He remains in police custody.

Officers are appealing for information and anyone who knows anything about this attack is asked to contact detectives at Musgrave police station.
