A man has been arrested by police investigating reported threats against elected representatives in the Newry, Mourne and Down areas.
The 62-year-old was arrested under the Terrorism Act in the Poyntzpass area on Tuesday.
A police spokesperson said he is the third person to be arrested in the probe.
“Officers from both PSNI Serious Crime Branch and Local Policing in Newry, Mourne and Down are continuing to co-ordinate their efforts and work together to fully investigate threats directed towards our elected representatives, hold those responsible to account, and keep our community safe,” they said.
