A man was hospitalised with broken ribs, fractured shoulder and numerous cuts and bruising after being attacked in Larne.
Shortly after one yesterday morning a number of men broke in to his house at Bank Road. They chased the 37 year old outside before hitting him with baseball bats.
Detective Constable Glenn is appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the assault to contact detectives in Larne on 101 quoting reference number "52 of 26/09/16".
