Man attacked by gang armed with hammers and bats in Belfast

A man has been attacked with hammers, bats and knuckledusters by a gang of up to seven men in Belfast.

The assault took place near the Comber Greenway around half six last night.

The victim's injuries aren't life threatening and he's currently recovering in hospital.
