A man's been charged with making threats to kill, disorderly behaviour and possessing a blade in a public place following an incident in south Belfast.
Police discovered a man holding a knife in the Mahee Close and Kilwarlin Cresent area at around 10.30 on Thursday night.
The 56-year-old is due before Belfast Magistrates court on Saturday.
Speaking at the time a PSNI Detective Sergeant said " We would ask anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in Kilwarlin Crescent or surrounding area to contact detectives in Musgrave Station on 101 quoting reference number 1855 - 16/01/20.
"Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime."
