A 58-year-old man is set to appear before Newry Magistrates' Court on Thursday to face a number of sex abuse charges.
The man has been charged with various offences including indecent assault, sexual assault and buggery.
He was charged following an investigation by detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland's Public Protection Branch into allegations of sexual abuse in the south Armagh area.
A PSNI spokesman said, as was usual procedure, all charges were reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
